Emiliano Sala search: Underwater footage shows body in wreckage, authorities mull next move
A search crew found the missing Piper Malibu plane on Sunday after it disappeared over the English Channel on January 21
Nearly two weeks after footballer Emiliano Sala's plane went missing over the English Channel, authorities said that they've spotted a body in the underwater wreckage on the seabed off Guernsey, according to reports.
A search crew found the missing Piper Malibu plane on Sunday after it disappeared from radar over the English Channel on January 21. The plane was carrying the 28-year-old Argentine football star from Nantes in France to Cardiff after his £15m move to Cardiff City and was being piloted by 59-year-old David Ibbotson. The "substantial amount of wreckage" of the plane was found on Sunday morning following a privately-funded search.
