Many fans have wanted particular relationships to work in Netflix's 'Elite'. The Spanish teen drama thriller is set to make a second season run on Netflix on September 6. Top of the list of fan favorites in the coupling area is Lu and Samuel, as one fan puts it on Twitter, "Who else would like to see Samuel and Lu together?  #Elite"

The two characters — Samuel (played by Itzan Escamilla) and Lu (Danna Paola) — are polar opposites. Apart from the fact that the two are students of Las Encinas High School in Spain, they don't have anything in common.

While Samuel is trying hard to get over Marina (María Pedraza), he is also struggling to cope with the fact that his girlfriend and his brother Nano (Jaime Lorente) were having an affair behind his back.

Though he resents his brother for this, he knows that Nano was unjustly accused in Marina's murder. Samuel hopes to throw some light on her death that will eventually get the real criminal caught. He, however, is still in a state of vulnerability which makes it easy for someone to come into his life and give him support.

Lucrecia or "Lu" is a wild and energetic character. But her energy sobers down towards the end of season one. She is trying to wrap her head around how she can keep Guzman in her life since she knows he has strong feelings for Nadia.

Lu needs to have whatever her heart desires and she doesn't want to lose Guzman at any cost. She belongs to a rich family that makes her life even more lonely since her parents are so occupied with their own lives that Lu has nobody for her other than Guzman.

Fans believe that Samuel and Lu would work as Samuel would be able to help ground Lu and teach her to be nice to people instead of being the typical "rich spoilt brat" (IMDb)

If we go by what fans are shipping in season two, Guzman and Nadia may end up together. That will leave Lu alone and heartbroken, which is why we need Samuel to be there for her. Both characters would be going through an emotional crisis and can help each other. Fans believe that Samuel and Lu would work as Samuel would be able to help ground Lu and teach her to be nice to people instead of being the typical "rich spoilt brat".

As one fan's tweet had said, "Episode 3 of 'Elite', I'm loving the show, and most importantly I love Nadia, her character makes Gúzman tolerable, Lu is a queen with a lot of flaws but I can see why people love so much the idea of her and Samuel, the potential is insane! I can't stand Marina honestly".

With fans wanting this relationship to work in season two, it will be interesting to see how these two extremely opposite personalities get along.
