The veteran actor came together with partner Britt Stewart for an unfortunate performance of Paso Doble. The dance was rigid, lacking energy and plain boring, to say the least. Judge Carrie Ann said although he was committed to his Karate Kid character he wasn't committed to the dance and gave him a score of 4. Judge Glenn was curt calling it a good effort and giving out a low score of 3. Judge Derek noted the good opening speech but said Kove was unprepared and that he needs to put in the hours. He gave a score of 3. Judge Bruno pointed out that only effort was made in the content but not dancing pointing out the fact that Kove seemed to forget the steps. He too scored a 3. The actor received the lowest score with a total of 13 out of 40. Fans shared the judges' sentiments and were displeased. Here's what they had to say.

A fan who found the performance hilarious said, "Watching the recap of #DWTS and Martin Kove…. Oh my lord!!!" Another user expressed disappointment, saying,"Oh man, poor Martin Kove is about to get skewered by Len. It was quite an entertaining performance, but the technique was not there. #DWTS.A user further showed dissatisfaction but also support saying, "Martin Kove oh my. God love him the technique was horrid, he didn’t move enough and he didn’t know the choreo but he has my whole heart. He was so precious, I love my sensei. He deserved at least a 17/40. 13 was just mean.

A brutally honest fan said,"#DWTS Martin Kove clearly does not understand that this is a dancing show, not a mean face contest. Why would they bring someone on that can barely walk, much less dance...it's sad. Getting straight to the point a user commented, "He was awful."  Another viewer said, "Someone get this old loser Martin Kove off my tv. Suni the baddie Lee is out here doing splits and advanced foot work, while this bozo literally just stands in one place- looking ugly I may add. Talk about an embarrassment! #DWTS"
