'Dancing with the Stars': Carrie Ann Inaba is 'suspiciously nice' to Kaitlyn Bristowe, is she scared of DWTS fans?

The 'DWTS' judge was called out by Kaitlyn and her partner Artem Chingvintsev, who were at the receiving end of 'little personal and discouraging' criticism from the Inaba last week

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chingvintsev were the first pair to be awarded a perfect 10 tonight. The theme of the evening was to celebrate icons, and Kaitlyn dedicated her performance to Britney Spears with her Argentine Tango, getting a full 30 on 30 from all three judges. The only other pair to achieve the same score was Johnny Weir and Britt Stewart with their quickstep to Amy Winehouse's 'Valerie'. Kaitlyn did wonderfully well on Monday's episode, her lines were clear, her stance was confident, and she looked like she came to kill. This definitely was one of the best performances that she's delivered on the 'DWTS' floor. This doesn't mean she didn't do well before, there have been mistakes, however, she's a decent performer and the audiences love what she's been doing during her time on the show.

Judges Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough too have been appreciative of her efforts in the past, however, Kaitlyn hadn't before Monday's performance been able to get a vote of appreciation from judge Carrie Ann Inaba. However, Inaba appeared to be Team Kaitlyn through and through on the recent episode and audiences are questioning if she did so because of being bullied on the internet by 'Bachelorette' fans.

"Y'all bullied Carrie Ann so bad last week she changed her whole attitude towards Kaitlyn and Artem lmao #DWTS" tweeted a fan. "Now y’all know damn well Carrie Ann voted for Kaitlyn because she was getting dragged on Twitter. #dwts" tweeted another. "Carrie ann is so scared to criticize Kaitlyn because she knows we’re all gonna drag her if she does #DWTS," wrote another fan. "Carrie Ann is being suspiciously nice to Kaitlyn tonight #dwts" read another tweet. "Carrie ann only picked Kaitlyn so we don’t cancel her #DWTS," wrote another.

For weeks, the audiences had complained that Kaitlyn was underscored and mostly pointed to the fact that Inaba had been too harsh on her and last week it took a whole new turn, not a pleasant one. Inaba insisted that the "jump" that Artem had included into his jive routine with Kaitlyn was "a lift" after Kaitlyn admitted that she can't do a back tuck on her own. Tonioli believed Kaitlyn and Artem were just swing dancing, however, Inaba was hellbent on "going to keep fighting" for the lift and she deducted a point from the score for the same.

Kaitlyn and Artem in an interview with Entertainment Weekly dished hard on Inaba, after last week's episode. "At this point, it starts being a little personal," Artem said. "At this point right now, we just feel like we're never going to make her happy. It feels really discouraging, in a sense, to come back next week. I was literally wanting to have earmuffs and put it on top of Kaitlyn's head," he added. Kaitlyn said that they've received constructive criticism from Tonioli and Hough which makes them work harder by applying all that they've been asked to do, in their performance but with Inaba's comments, she doesn't really understand what one could do with it.

"It's always reassuring to talk to other people and have them asking those same questions because we come back and we're like, 'Huh?' We're good at accepting constructive criticism. We're like, 'Okay, great, now let's apply it. Thank you for the wonderful feedback.' With this one, it's like, 'Huh? Okay?'" she said. She also brought up the fact that Inaba was not very easy on Hannah Brown, winner of Season 28, who was a former 'Bachelorette' just like Kaitlyn herself.

""I just want to know where it comes from. Is it from a place where you believe in us and you want us to do better? Is it coming from a place of, 'I was hard on Hannah and you're another Bachelor girl?'" Kaitlyn said."Where is it coming from and how are we supposed to take it and bring it into our next rehearsal? What do you want us to channel and use from it? It's very hard to understand that," she added.
