Dua Lipa, Charli XCX and Tove Lo broke the Internet after an image of the three hanging out together went viral on social media. Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo shared the pic on her Instagram handle close to midnight on Monday, August 3. The snap was seemingly taken when the trio of pop star friends were celebrating the birthday of Charli XCX (born on August 2, 1992). In the photo, we see Dua Lipa pulling her tongue out sitting outside in the garden between Tove Lo and Charli XCX who are both showing peace signs.

The playful pic also teases a possibility that the three friends may collaborate together while under quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic. "New quarantine band 😛 also happy bday @charli_xcx you’re so much younger than me," Tove Lo wrote in her caption on Instagram.

Fans on Instagram were quick to react to the new post with comments like "queens💖" and "GOALS 😍." Fans who are hyped for a collaboration said, "Living legends y'all should collab" and "I’m: crying on the floor." One fan wrote, "This photo cured my fibromyalgia."

The photo follows several recent posts on Lipa's Instagram where she is seen outside as well, so we can only assume they hung out together at her home in London. Lipa, Tove Lo and Charli have been seen together on separate occasions before (mainly as featured guests on each other's songs), but this is the first time we get to see all three hanging out and it is nothing short of legendary.

One of the most memorable times was back in 2018 when Lipa was nominated for five Brit Awards. According to BBC, Lipa sent a text to Zara Larsson, MØ, Alma and Charli asking them to take part in "something special for the Live Lounge." In an interview with Nick Grimshaw of Radio 1 at the time, Lipa said, "I thought it would be fun to do 'IDGAF' but call my mates down and sing it with me." She added, "They were like 'Yeah, that will be fun. Let's do it'." 'IDGAF', (an acronym for "I don't give a f**k") is a song by Lipa from her self-titled debut studio album released in 2017.

Lipa's connection with Tove Lo became more public in 2018 when she shared a picture of the two artistes from a studio in Stockholm via her Instagram. She said, “Spent two days writing in the studio with this incredibly funny extremely talented human being." Their collaboration at the time is probably what led to Lipa's 2020 sophomore album 'Future Nostalgia' as Tove Lo was a credited songwriter.

As far as the friendship between Charli and Tove Lo is concerned, the two have made headlines before for their collaborations. In 2017, Tove Lo released the track titled 'Bitches' from her third studio album, 'Blue Lips'. An official remix single of the track was released a year later, which featured Charli along with electropop duo Icona Pop, Swedish singer-rapper Elliphant, and Finish singer-songwriter Alma.

Whether Lipa Charli and Tove Lo were just hanging out or teasing collaborative music, we have no doubts that a quarantine album from these amazing women will be simply amazing.
