Pedophile who sexually assaulted 8-year-old girl says it's her fault as she made him 'fall in love at first sight'

The pedophile pleaded guilty to three counts of second-degree sexual assault. Bynum also accepted the maximum years of imprisonment
UPDATED JAN 27, 2019

Drew Curtis Bynum, a 27-year-old Arkansas man who was arrested for molesting an eight-year-old girl for months, has now been sentenced to 60 years in jail. Bynum had, however, blamed the kid stating that she made him "fall in love at first sight".

Bynum, on Wednesday, was sentenced to 60 years in jail after he accepted a plea deal with the state agreeing to lessen two of his rape counts to second-degree sexual assault and even waived the third count of rape, according to Arkansas Democrat Gazette. This plea agreement also spares the kid the trauma of having to confess in court.

Bynum, who hails from Texarkana, appeared with Assistant Public Defender Matt Stephens before Circuit Judge Carlton Jones in a courtroom at the Miller County jail complex on Thursday morning.
