'Dr Pimple Popper' Spoilers: Can Dr Lee help Monica get rid of grainy bumps on her face, neck and tongue?
Dr Sandra Lee has made a name for herself ever since she appeared on TLC as 'Dr Pimple Popper' and rightfully so, as she takes her patients through an emotional journey, getting rid of their scars and bumps that held them back from living their life to the fullest.
Even though appearance is not everything, a lipoma or a cyst, painful as it is, can make one lose confidence in a social gathering. For small town girl Monica, her grainy cysts all over her face, neck and tongue have become a major inconvenience in her day to day life. Will Dr Sandra Lee be able to help her without any complications? That is something we need to find out when the holiday special episode releases on TLC.
The official handle of Dr Pimple Popper posted the preview with caption, "The wait is finally over! PREMIERE EPISODE of Dr Pimple Popper on @tlc is TOMORROW (Monday). Meet Monica who will touch your heart Dec 28th, 9pm/8c. Will you be watching?"
Monica from Illinois had those grainy bumps since birth, which were also on her tongue. We are not sure if the treatment of bumps on the tongue is different from bumps anywhere else on the body. Monica has a huge, friendly personality and she has a degree in childhood education. Monica really wants to work with children but feels her appearance holds her back. She had previous surgeries, multiple ones at that, but the bumps kept appearing. Would Dr Lee be able to help her for good?
Apart from that, the official handle posted another video of lipoma removal with the caption, “Quick and easy lipoma removal!” Unlike other lipomas, in this case there were no bumps. The patient had a lipoma formed inside their arm and it had to be detected externally and make a mark on the arm (the way they do during plastic surgery) and then make an incision to pull it out.
One thing that we all would relate to (especially the ladies) are strawberry legs that we get after repeated hair removal. If you thought that was something you have to accept and live with for the rest of your life, Dr Lee tells us otherwise. Dr Lee has her own skincare line called SLMD. She has now taken it one step further to do something called ‘Body Smoothing System’ to get rid of bumps and dry patches on the skin. The official handle posted a before and after picture of body smoothening on a patient with a caption, “Some BEAUTIFUL results from my @slmdskincare Body Smoothing System! If you're looking to smooth out dry, rough bumpy skin or Keratosis Pilaris on your thighs or arms, this system is for you.”
