'Dr Pimple Popper': Leonardo has a potato-sized lump on his head, can Dr Lee remove the 30-year-old growth?

Leonardo has a companion on his head that has been with him for 30 years. Unfortunately, he is not too happy about it. Leonardo revealed that he first noticed a small lump on his head that was the size of a pimple when he got a cut. While the cut healed from outside, Leonardo believes that it did not from inside.

He revealed that it has been growing over the years but for the past 10 years the growth has become more. When Leonardo showed the bump on his head to Dr Sandra Lee, she was quick to note that it looked like it was a potato-sized bump. Leonardo confessed that over the years he has faced bullying because of the growth. Recalling how people often called him names, Leonardo admitted that his work in hospitality was greatly affected by it. While Leonardo's sister has motivated him to go meet a doctor, his fear of needles and someone making a cut on his head has taken over his motivation to get the growth tested.

Leonardo made it clear that he is not a fan of someone performing a procedure on his head. He further revealed that there had been times when he had fainted. His sister informed Dr Lee that Leonardo has often dodged the conversation of getting it tested for this reason. While it came as a shock to her, Dr Lee was happy that she was informed well in advance. She admitted that extra care would have to be taken if Leonardo was approved for the surgery, but made it clear that it wasn't anything to worry about. While she had an idea of what it was, she still wanted to be certain that she was on the right path.

Dr Lee had a closer look at the growth and was happy to see that it moved a little. While Leonardo was worried that it might be something serious, Dr Lee showed him the light at the end of the tunnel by stating that the chances of it being something serious were less as the bump moved around. While she hinted that it would be possible to take care of the growth, Dr Lee revealed it was best to get a scan done first before jumping into a conclusion. Leonardo agreed and Dr Lee asked him to wait until the results were back. Will Dr Lee be able to go on with the procedure after the results or move back?

'Dr Pimple Popper: Before the Pop' airs on Thursdays at 10 pm ET on TLC.
