Donald Trump has a history of being caught up in crossfires with Netizens for the things he chooses to post on his Twitter. This time again, history has repeated itself and people have resorted to name-calling the president after he posted pictures of protesters from Lafayette Square, Washington.

Trump posted bulletins that had photographs of 15 protesters from the protest on Saturday, June 27, on his page. The bulletins were first released to the public on June 24 by United States Park Police in conjunction with the FBI Washington Field Office's Violent Crimes Task Force. The text said on these bulletins read, "attempting to identify several individuals who are responsible for vandalizing federal property at Lafayette Square in Washington, DC."

The text continued, "On June 22, 2020, at approximately 7 pm, a group of individuals vandalized the Andrew Jackson statue at Lafayette Square, at Pennysylvania Ave NW & 16th Street Northwest, The US Park Police and FBI are attempting to identify the individuals responsible for Destruction of Property and other related crimes."

It further read, "If you have any information concerning this individual or these incidents, please contact the US Park Police Criminal Investigation Branch - Major Crimes Unit via the anonymous Tip Line at (202)-610-8737, uspp_tipline@nps.gov, or the case detective at (202)-610-8731 reference the bulletin number listed below. You may also contact the FBI's Washington Field Office at (202)-278-200. This bulletin does not constitute probable cause to arrest".

Soon after he posted these, people started calling him out for doing so. "Why don't you attempt to identify the Russians who offered the Taliban bounties on the heads of American soldiers, you a treasonous bag of sh*t?" read a comment. Another wrote, "Donald Trump will defend confederate statues but does nothing when there is a bounty on US military." Another tweet read, "All this to distract from allowing dozens of US soldiers to be murdered by Putin. NATIONAL DISGRACE!" Another user wrote, "Nice work selling out US soldiers to your friend Putin. Wow, you must feel like a hero." A user shared, "127k dead Americans and he wants to jail someone who did graffiti on a statue."
