Trump trolled for mocking Biden while using teleprompter himself: ‘Is slurring and rambling included on it?’

Joe Biden or Donald Trump, who used a teleprompter? As the 2020 US elections come closer, the rivalry between the Democratic and Republican candidates only seems to spiral up — with the mystery around teleprompters getting much heat on social media. It was a cool 46 degrees on Thursday, September 17 night in Mosinee, Wisconsin as Trump came for his rally and mocked Biden for using teleprompters.

As per Daily Mail, Trump was himself using a teleprompter for his speech at that time and the two screens could be seen on the sides of his podium. "This isn't fair," Trump said. "I mean I'm watching what they're doing with Biden where he's using teleprompters."  

Well, that was not all. Trump, 74, attacked Biden, 77, again on his "mental decline." "Joe Biden is a weak person. He's always been a weak person," Trump said. "He's not old. I always defend him in this. I have friends that are 85, 89, 90, to 95. And they're 100%. This just something wrong with Joe. He's off. And I have no problem saying that anymore when I watch the disinformation because this is not disinformation, this is fact."

Soon, his comments on teleprompters sparked a huge debate. NBC News reporter Josh Lederman tweeted, "Trump, reading from a teleprompter here in Wisconsin, is criticizing Biden for using teleprompters," and his tweet soon collected over 3,000 retweets and 14,000 likes. 

One even shared a video of Trump using a teleprompter and mocked him. "Ok team trump, we get it he can read a teleprompter! Too bad he doesn't understand a damn word he's saying!" One said, "Please don't start this nonsense! At least Joe Biden didn't read from the paper or teleprompter & make pronunciation mistakes like Trump does every time!!!" Another Twitter user joked: "Is Trump's slurring, rambling and stumbling included on the teleprompter or is that just more of his brilliant ad-libbing?"

However, many came to Trump's defense. "Ummm, show me when Trump used a teleprompter for a reporter’s question?! This was his point. And why are you pushing propaganda to defend Biden?" Richard Grenell, former Acting Director of National Intelligence, asked. One wrote: "Trump didn’t use a teleprompter at his town hall and he uses a teleprompter at rallies what he doesn’t do is use them to answer questions or at a new conference." Another said, "Does Trump use a teleprompter when he answers questions from the press like Biden does? That was the gist of the criticism. On this topic, why does Biden only answer a few questions from reporters on a numbered list? C’MON MAN!"

Mocking the debate, one Twitter user posted, "You do understand the difference in using a teleprompter for a speech vs. using one to answer supposedly spontaneous questions, right? I sincerely hope you can someday purge the evil that is so obviously consuming your soul and deranging your mind. I recommend Jesus."
