President Donald Trump responded to retired general Stanley McChrystal's comments by questioning his credentials and performance in Afghanistan, and calling him a 'Hillary lover!'
President Donald Trump slammed the former top United States commander in Afghanistan, Retired General Stanley McChrystal, on Tuesday and questioned his judgment. The Republican president's remarks came after former trooper said that Afghan people could lose confidence in America as an ally.
McChrystal, while appearing on ABC's 'This Week', said that withdrawing almost half of the 14,000 American troops serving in Afghanistan would reduce the incentive for the Taliban to negotiate a peace deal after more than 17 years of war in the conflict-ridden region.
