Of the 53 years of marriage with Dolly Parton, husband Carl Dean has been off the spotlight for the last four decades until multiple media houses captured him running errands in the Nashville suburb, late last year. This has upset the fans, reported Celebrity Insider

Carl has always been the opposite of Dolly who is friendly and outspoken. "He barely leaves the house and doesn't really interact with people unless he absolutely has to — the total opposite of Dolly. Carl is still extremely reclusive and in any given week he will only leave the house a handful of times," a source told National Enquirer

It's not surprising given how details of their marriage, which has survived more than half a century, has been kept a secret. They married in 1966 and celebrated their 50th anniversary back in 2016. They even renewed their vows to mark the special occasion. "If I had it to do all over, I'd do it all over again, and we did. I'm dragging him kicking and screaming into the next 50 years. Wish us luck," Dolly told Entertainment Tonight after the celebrations were over.

Meanwhile, fans haven't taken kindly to Carl's pictures being published online. There's a good number of people online who believe his privacy should have been respected. "They are people who want to live life like everyone else please respect them and they will respect you it's sad that you can go and take pictures of people without their approval and post them you wouldn't like it if there was pictures of you posted without your approval," Pop Culture quoted a user as saying regarding the photos doing the rounds.

Another wrote: "Leave him alone. If he wants to stay under the radar - the media should all respect that. Especially with all Dolly does for so many things."

There's been no statement from the couple yet but there are chances Carl would be put off by the latest development because he has been a recluse a good part of his life and wouldn't want to be changing it now.
