Even 47 years since Elvis Presley's passing, Priscilla Presley still feels his presence. The couple met for the first time in 1959, when Elvis was 24 and Priscilla was 14. Despite their ten-year age gap, the couple tied the knot in 1967 and were married for six years until they called it quits in 1973, as reported by Today. However, despite their separation, the couple remained close until Elvis passed away in 1977. Priscilla's devotion and love for Elvis were so great that she never remarried, and she once also revealed feeling Elvis' spirit with her.

Priscilla opened up on her deep connection to Elvis back in November 2023, as she said, "Graceland is still my home." She also revealed, "I feel Elvis and his 'aura'" where he passed away, as per The U.S. Sun. Priscilla further admitted, "You feel his soul there. You really do. When I walk in, it's like, wow. It's like the memories are there and all, but I do feel his spirit there. I truly feel his spirit there." Looking emotional, she added, "Listen, Graceland is my heart. I love Graceland. I love going. It's like I never left. Whenever I go there

, I feel it's still my home too."

She continued, "I get memories like you can't believe, the kitchen, the dining room table." Priscilla further reminisced, "And when I walk in and see that dining room table, I can see us all sitting there and laughing and watching Johnny Carson's show and having just group talks with him," as per Southern Living. She added, "And of course, there were the guys too. So Graceland is exceptional. It was special to him, special to me. I think when people go there to visit, they feel it."

This is not the first time Priscilla has discussed the King of Rock 'n' Roll , as she said in a conversation with The Times UK, "Obviously I do spend time at Graceland, and I can still feel Elvis’ spirit there. To be honest, there isn’t a day [that] goes by when I don't think of him. Just last week, I saw a shirt, and I could almost hear myself saying, 'Elvis would love that. Should I get it for him?'" She also shared a memory of his love for ballads, saying, "I remember sitting with him at Graceland listening to some of the songs he was recording, and I asked him why he sang so many ballads. He answered me straight away, 'Because those songs touch the heart. Life's truth is in those songs.' He was right."

Sharing about how his music might have evolved, she added, "Musically, I think he was pretty happy with how things had turned out. He loved knowing that his music meant something to people." Priscilla also recalled Elvis' deep connection to gospel music, saying, “If you ever saw him sit down at the piano and sing one of those old songs, you'd know what I was talking about. His face [was] so serene and beautiful—he would lose himself in gospel music."
