'Do you like Brahms?' Episode 11: Joon-young successfully makes Song-ah comfortable in their love
Jung-kyung might have decided to wait for Joon-young (Kim Min-jae) to return to her, just as she did to him after dumping Hyeon-ho. However, she is not aware of how this might not work out the way she had planned as we see the proof of the same in Episode 11 of 'Do you Like Brahms?' In this episode, Song-ah (Park Eun-bin) is struggling to come to terms with the fact that despite her love for the violin, she is not as good as any of her other classmates because neither is she a genius like Joon-young, nor has she worked on playing the instrument long enough like Hyeon-ho to have gained the same experience.
So the episode sees her wonder if she has taken the right decision in choosing to stick onto this path and even go as far as doing things that prick her pride for Professor Lee. By now, Song-ah has become sure that her professor has no interest in teaching Song-ah and is only using her to get her chamber organized and to do odd jobs that she is too lazy to do so herself. Now that Song-ah has realized where she falls short and especially after having had a word with Jon-young's new agent in Korea, she learns something new. She realizes that there are more ways than one to show one's love and appreciation for music in whatever form.
At this time, Song-ah hears from her professor who wants her to do another chore and this time she sends Song-ah to collect a brooch from an online seller who is settled in Daejeon. She could have chosen to use a courier service but she sends Song-ah to go directly because she doesn't trust the seller. When Joon-young asks her where she is headed, Song-ah is already having second thoughts about not just continuing to play the violin but also her relationship with Joon-young. Since she heard Jung-kyung and Joon-young rehearse together, she has been wondering if she can be a part of Joon-young's life and if he even has space for her in his life. So she doesn't want to tell him the truth and get her self-esteem hurt. Instead, she decides to tell him that she is headed to Daejeon for work related to the chamber that she has been organizing.
Something tells Joon-young that he shouldn't let Song-ah leave for Daejeon alone and so he rushes after her and even accompanies her to his hometown. There, the two of them have a date after Song-ah completes her work. Coincidentally, Joon-young's mother sees him and invites him along with Song-ah, whom he introduces as his girlfriend, to come over for a meal. When Song-ah decides to accept the invitation and her sincere gesture and happiness at meeting his mother pushes Joon-young to tell her the truth about his family and also about how his feeling towards playing the piano had changed. This, in turn, lets Song-ah believe that she can catch up to Jung-kyung despite the time that Joon-young had spent with her, because he has chosen to let her in. In the case of the violin, however, this doesn't hold true. So we can only wait and see what Song-ah decides to do about her future. Will she choose grad school and put up with the insulting manner that her professor treats her or will she decide to give up?
