Reportedly, there is no official prize money for Golden Globe winners; the awards are purely honorary. Talking about the winners of the Golden Globes 2026, Focus Features' 'Hamnet' won Best Motion Picture Drama, while Warner Bros' 'One Battle After Another' took Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical along with three other awards, including Best Director and Best Screenplay for Paul Thomas Anderson. Anderson, who had also won at the Critics' Choice Awards, paid tribute onstage to his late, longtime collaborator and assistant director, Adam Somner, as per Deadline.

Netflix's 'KPop Demon Hunters' scored repeat wins from the Critics Choice Awards, taking Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for its hit 'Golden,' though the filmmakers stayed tight-lipped on a sequel. Meanwhile, Ludwig Göransson won Best Original Score for Warner Bros' 'Sinners' during a commercial break, mirroring his Critics Choice success, as the Globes had excluded the Score category from the main telecast.
