'DJT Has NPD' trends as MeidasTouch attacks Trump in new ad, calls him 'biggest threat to US security'
The ad claims that many psychological experts have agreed that Trump does show a number of signs suggesting that he may suffer from Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD)
MeidasTouch, one of the most hard-hitting left-wing attack-ad producing political channel on Twitter, created with the sole purpose of preventing the reelection of President Donald Trump, has come up with a new scathing video which suggests that POTUS might be suffering from Narcissistic Personality Disorder or NPD.
The video in question claimed that many psychological experts have given their opinion on the president's mental condition and have agreed that he does show a number of signs pointing to the conclusion that he suffers from NPD. The video then goes onto urge the viewers to examine the behavioral pattern of Trump for themselves and states, "According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, those with Narcissistic Personality Disorder exhibit" traits like "an exaggerated sense of self-importance," "a preoccupation with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty or ideal love," "the belief that they are special," etc.
The video was posted with the caption, "NEW VIDEO Trump’s narcissistic personality disorder makes him the biggest threat to America’s security. #DJTHasNPD"
As a result, soon the catchy hashtag 'DJThasNPD' started trending on social media with a number of people retweeting and reacting to the attack ad. Here are some of the reactions:
"Donald J. Trump Has Narcissistic Personality Disorder #DJTHasNPD Exhibit A: Endangering senior citizens by pretending pandemic is over to help his campaign."
"It's @realDonaldTrump's malignant narcissism that makes him corrupt, corruptible, incapable of listening or learning, impulsive, compulsive, incapable of connecting w/others beyond how he can use them; and in power dangerously unfit. #DJTHasNPD"

"If you've ever encountered someone with strong NPD you know them by their total lack of empathy, defensiveness, histrionic rage, protection and predictability. They're the skin of evil. But regular people refuse to believe such people exist. #DJTHasNPD"

According to Mayo Clinic, "Narcissistic personality disorder — one of several types of personality disorders — is a mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of extreme confidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism."
Such a condition can often cause "problems in many areas of life, such as relationships, work, school or financial affairs." Such people are known to become unhappy and disappointed when they are not granted "special favors or admiration they believe they deserve."
