Everyone knows that you cannot beat Bambam’s Twitter game as he is known for playing around with fans and his GOT7 members online. From teasing them to creating memes, Ahgases (GOT7’s fandom) love Bambam’s presence on the social media app. He happens to be the most followed K-pop idol on Twitter with 10.6 million followers and is quite active. In fact, fans were suspicious when the rest of GOT7 were tweeting more than him in last week of June. He also hosts Twitter spaces and chats with fans while making it his second job of creating memes every other week which had fans dubbing him ‘meme king’.

From teasing Jay B on Twitter after hosting a radio show together to to hyping up Jinyoung’s latest K-drama ‘Yumi’s Cells 2’ with memes, Bambam goes viral every time he tweets. But it seems like no one realized that by being active on Twitter, he was also exposed to the toxic side with haters cyberbullying artists for no reason other than to be spiteful. Ahgases had some inkling when Bambam had shared in a group interview that he wanted to prove all those people wrong who claimed GOT7 had disbanded. While most fans trusted GOT7 when they went on an unofficial hiatus, haters mocked fans which Bambam had noticed and even responded to.

GOT7's Bambam takes a break from Twitter

And with Bambam being fluent in Korean, Thai and English, the hate that he must be witnessing on Twitter must be overwhelming. But with the GOT7 star’s easy-going and cheerful persona, no one grasped the severity of an idol being active on K-pop Twitter as Ahgases first reacted playfully to Bambam’s latest tweet. On July 2, the Thai-born idol tweeted, “See u guys later,” with a gif that was captioned as “Give me a break.” Fans thought he meant he would be going Live to talk to fans. Bambam then clarified, “I’m taking a break to clear my mind.” However, fans need not worry for long as we will be seeing him along with Jackson in Manila on July 29 and Bangkok on July 31.

'I hope you are alright'

Fans have taken to sending supportive messages like, “My sweet BamBam, I hope you are alright! Please take the necessary time you need in order for you to have a clear mind. I will wait for you no matter how long it takes. Your happiness is my happiness! I love you baby & know that I'm always by your side!” Another Ahgase tweeted, “Take care babe ❤️😘♥️🤟 I will miss u at here ❤️💋💕😚 Love u so much bambam ahh @BamBam1A wish u enjoy with your rest time babe.”

One fan posted, “Rest as much as you need, bam 🥺 your mental health comes first! we're willing to wait whatever youre planning in the future ✨ take all the time that you need it. i hope you okay and please take care of yourself!  i love you, bammie.” Another commented, “I see Bam always working hard and doing well. Take a break to recharge your body and mind to the fullest.”
