'From shaking a** to crying': Drunk Hoshi on Youngji's show has Seventeen fans shocked

Fans found Hoshi cute as he drunkenly professed his love for his label before showing his professionalism by practising for Seventeen's comeback

Fans love Lee Youngji’s talk show ‘My Alcohol Diary’ where she invites K-pop idols and chats with them casually. Fans love the informal atmosphere as they go beyond promoting their recent release to having heart-to-heart talks with Youngji. We got some iconic moments from her YouTube series - from Mamamoo’s Hwasa apologizing to Monsta X’s Jooheon for giving him a piece of candy in exchange for a charger to TXT’s Soobin tearing up over the burden of being a leader. And now we got Seventeen’s Hoshi getting candid as he expressed his love for his label Pledis.

And it turns out we only got this because he was actually drunk. While Hoshi usually talks in an energetic manner, he was extremely animated with his facial expressions and hand movements while talking to Youngji. We also got some meme-worthy footage like him trying to teach Youngji the choreography of 'Hot' and crying on the show. Turns out he had actually gotten drunk after we got behind-the-scenes footage of Seventeen’s Jeonghan and Vernon recording him after the show.

Hoshi goes to dance practice after getting drunk

Lee Youngji’s episode was filmed while Seventeen was preparing for their latest album ‘Face The Sun’. Jeonghan recorded Hoshi practising ‘Hot’ after coming back from the show while commenting, “Hoshi is completely drunk right now after coming from (Youngji's show) the members are all worried & telling him to stop but he's saying he HAS to do this so he is working hard. Our Hoshi is so cool..this will be posted in Weverse later.” We also had Vernon asking Hoshi to stop. Meanwhile, Mingyu was teasing Hoshi on Weverse and asking if he could drink with him.

Fans found the whole thing hilarious as they made tweets like, “Hoshi was already drunk so he cried while talking about how much he loves pledis.” With the Seventeen star going viral for his dance moves in ‘Cheer’ on July 8, one Carat was surprised, “How did we go from hoshi shaking ass on the tl to hoshi drunk crying and professing his love for pledis in a span of an hour.” With Mingyu teasing Hoshi, another fan posted, “IM CRYING HOSHI SAID HE HAS NO RECOLLECTION OF THIS.”

One fan added, “Please i need a live of mingyu and hoshi drinking together.” Another Carat said, “So we got two sides of drunk hoshi.” Fans also found Hoshi trying to teach Youngji how to dance to ‘Hot’ cute, “Drunk hoshi dancing to hot is my new fave thing.” One was in awe, “Looks like this was filmed at the same day as drunk hoshi??? and if it is then HOSHI LISTEN- HOW!?” Another commented, “He’s in his angy hamster mode.”
