'Devils' Episode 3 Preview: Was Dominic Morgan involved in Carrie Price's death?
Life as a banker is not easy. And for Massimo Ruggero (Alessandro Borghi), the Head of Trading at New York - London Bank (NYL), it keeps getting more and more difficult.
Working with his father figure Dominic Morgan (Patrick Dempsey) for years, he suddenly finds himself to solve a murder mystery set amid the brutal towers of high finance. As he races against time, he must investigate because that is the only way to save himself. In the previous episode, Massimo arrives at the conclusion that Dominic is not the trusting father figure he had claims to be.
According to the official synopsis of the upcoming episode, "Massimo tries to determine if Dominic is secretly handling business for Gaddafi, against whom the Libyan War has now been launched; Detective Vicky Bale suspects that Massimo is involved in his colleague's death."
We can also expect to see more of Massimo's relationship with his wife Carrie Price (Sallie Harmsen). Following the phone call he received in the last few minutes of the previous episode that announced her death, Massimo was overcome by grief. And in the upcoming episode, we will see him do exactly that as he also rushes to find out what Dominic is really up to.
In a promo released by The CW ahead of the airing of the episode, we see that Massimo has taken on Oliver Harris' (Malachi Kirby) expertise in his team. And doubtlessly, this will invite some friction from the rest of his team. Also, why is Paul McGuinnan (Harry Michell) doing in the promo if Massimo fired him? Perhaps they work out some deal and he's back in.
We'll find out soon in the next episode. 'Devils' will air Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW.
