Mother of two arrested for beating her toddlers till their internal organs failed, causing death
A woman, mother of two, was recently arrested for killing her two toddlers by beating them. The woman from New Jersey by the name Jade Spencer, 33, was waiting for arraignment in Bronx on August 9.
She was charged with the killing of her two toddlers by beating them up till their organs failed. This incident occurred two years ago and the matter came up in court on August 8.
The NY Post reported that she was charged on two counts of murder of killing Olivia Gee, 2, and Micha Gee, 3. Jade's then-boyfriend Novell Jordan said in July 2017 that the toddlers were gasping for air inside their residence in Kingsbridge Heights. The police also found marks on the children's necks giving more proof to the crime.
NY Post also reported that Olivia and Micha died nine minutes apart at the Montefiore Medical Center. The children also reportedly suffered from asthma. The autopsies on them revealed that the death was caused by "blunt-force trauma" and the marks were clearly visible in the area of the torso. The deaths were categorized as homicides.
The reason for the delay in the arrest of Jade Spencer was not clear on August 9 but the authorities claim that it was due to the Bronx's attorneys not immediately returning calls pertaining to the case. The father of the two children denied all means of communication at the court on Friday. The arrest of Spencer was made by the NYPD's Warrant Squad.
