'Deadliest Catch' Season 16 Episode 13: Harley's pots come up empty, fans mock the skipper 'it's called karma'
Even as the skippers battled the raging Bomb cyclone, the hunt for the Opilio crab carried on and in what came as not-so-surprising news, Steve Harley Davidson had a string of empty pots coming up. It might not have been good news for him, however, the fans were pleased as punch. The Southern Wind captain has managed to irk just about every fan watching the acclaimed Discovery series and always garnered enough flak for his nasty practice of stealing other skippers crabs.
"I’m almost caught up to the current season of #DeadliestCatch. And I’m starting to wonder if Harley is a complete douche??" asked a fan. "#deadliestcatch When little Harley puts his big boy pants on and quits following other crab captains...fishing can happen," wrote one of the fans. "This is what my loathing of Harley has brought me to. #ScrewHarley #DeadliestCatch" a fan opined. "At this point, the crab gods even hate Harley's crew. Good one Harley. #DeadliestCatch," a fan said.
"Well, that's what happens when you work for a scumbag like Harley. You have to deal with the anger of the crab gods. #DeadliestCatch," a fan remarked. One of the storylines saw the Southern Wind slapped by two huge rogue waves and in addition, a bunch of his pots came up empty. "Captain Harely trying to find crab on his own. Who would’ve thought? #DeadliestCatch," a fan tweeted. "That's pretty skinny stuff right now" Karma is a bitch, Captain Harley "I can't find crab" #deadliestcatch," a fan mocked.
"#DeadliestCatch its called Karma Harley..." a fan tweet read and this was seconded by another fan who wrote: "Harley meet Karma #DeadliestCatch." One fan tweeted: "So, basically Harley still hasn't gotten karma's message and now he is going to try the crab gods anger? Talk about an idiot and a scumbag. #DeadliestCatch"
"#deadliestcatch nothing pleases me more than seeing Karma catch up with Harley after he pulls one of his nasty stunts!" a fan exclaimed. "Nothing I rather see on Tuesday evening than Harley pull blanks. Hahahaha!" a fan laughed. Looks like karma's back to strike Harley down.
