'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 Episode 5 will be yet another trip to the past for the team. Another week, another encore, but this time around, the newly resurrected soul the Legends are going after isn't exactly your usual definition of an evil mastermind.

The next episode of the season, 'A Head of Her Time', will see the team take a trip back to 18th century France to deal with the newly-resurrected Marie Antoinette who seems to be using her second chance at life to party hard and stuff every face she can find with cake. Based on comments from executive producer Phil Klemmer, this episode was at least partly created to allow the new social media influencer version of Zari Tarazi (Tala Ashe) to earn her place on the team.

“We just really wanted to find an episode in which the skillset of a 21st-century media influencer would be useful,” Klemmer told TVLine. “For us, Marie Antoinette kind of felt larger than life. Love her or hate her, she was like the original influencer. The idea of Encores coming back to life and wanting to do dastardly things gets kind of boring. There’s something sad about Marie Antoinette. She was a bit of an innocent.”

In what's bound to be a nice (if confusing) treat for the fans, Marie Antoinette will be portrayed in the episode by series regular Courtney Ford, who usually plays Nora Darhk. “You can cast someone new, or you have this incredible actress who doesn’t have a big storyline that episode, so you’re like, why not?! It kind of makes sense,” executive producer Grainne Godfree said in the same interview as Klemmer.

Jes Macallan, who plays Ava Sharpe on the show, also weighed in during the chat to talk about Ford's performance as the doomed queen saying, “Courtney just smashed it! Every time I see her, I’m like, ‘Thiz party stinkz!’ [It’s] the most Pepé Le Pew French thing you’ve ever seen in your life, and it just works, because it’s friggin’ Legends.”

As for Ava, she finds herself a bit lost in the episode, leading the team while her girlfriend Sara Lance / White Canary (Caity Lotz) takes a leave of absence. The EPs also teased that this situation would lead to Ava developing something of a friendship with the new Zari.

Here's the synopsis for the upcoming episode: "When Sara is called away on business, she leaves Ava in charge; with Zari still on the ship, Behrad convinces the team to bring her along on a mission which they all hope isn't a mistake; Constantine finally confronts someone from his past."

'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 airs new episodes every Tuesday at 9/8c only on The CW.
