The hit ABC show beat other nominees in the category including 'The 3rd Hour of Today' (NBC), 'Rachael Ray' (Syndication), 'Red Table Talk' (Facebook Watch) and 'Today with Hoda & Jenna' (NBC). On the win, Sunny Hostin, in her acceptance speech said: "I envision a world that seeks to reign above pettiness, divisiveness, and hatred. There were mixed responses from fans after the announcement. "I'm beyond excited for 'The View'. This year you all have gone above and beyond each and every day. Thank you Whoopi, Joy, Sunny and Meghan. It’s all 4 of you together that made this award possible" a fan tweeted. "YAY! Congratulations!!!!" wrote another. "Congratulations ladies of The View!
