Daytime Emmys 2020: Kelly Clarkson bags first-time win for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host

This is Clarkson's first nomination and first win for just the very first season of her show — 'The Kelly Clarkson Show'

Kelly Clarkson of 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' has won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host and fans are over the moon. This is Clarkson's first nomination and first win for the very first season of her show.

Other nominees in the same category included all-time favorites like Michael Strahan, Sara Haines and Keke Palmer of 'GMA3: Strahan, Sara and Keke' (ABC), Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest from 'Live with Kelly and Ryan' (Syndication), Maury Povich for 'Maury' (Syndication) and Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Eve, Carrie Ann Inaba and Marie Osmond from 'The Talk' (CBS), who coincidentally were the hosts for the ceremony.

Well, fans aren't surprised at all by Clarkson's win and they're saying she definitely deserves the award, just for being "such an amazing person". As soon as the win was announced, fans took to Twitter to celebrate and here's what they've been saying. "I’m so happy Kelly Clarkson won the #DaytimeEmmy for her talk show in her first nomination! Something about Kelly Clarkson’s energy draws positivity and happiness. I wish her show another decade of success #KellyClarksonShow." Another fan tweeted, "A newbie but a natural, in only her first season of the #KellyClarksonShow, the charismatic @kellyclarkson is the worthy winner of the #OutstandingEntertainmentTalkShowHost #DaytimeEmmy Award! Yaaas!"

Yet another fan declared, "Anything to brighten Kelly Clarkson's day is good by me! Congrats on the Emmy! #DaytimeEmmy." One more said, "@kellyclarkson congrats on your #DaytimeEmmy win you totally deserved it you’re such an amazing person." Another fan wrote, "@kellyclarkson is now an Emmy winner!! So cool! @DaytimeEmmys #DaytimeEmmys2020 #DaytimeEmmy #DaytimeEmmyAwards #DaytimeEmmys #KellyClarksonShow #KellyClarkson."

To sum it all up, we got this one fan who tweeted, "This night just gets better and better. Congrats to @kellyclarkson for winning her first #DaytimeEmmy for #OutstandingEntertainmentTalkShowHost for @KellyClarksonTV you deserve it especially in your first season and wishing for many seasons to come also thanks to @NBCUniversal too."
