'Dave': Release date, plot, cast and all you need to know about FXX's upcoming comedy series
Behold! David Andrew Burd is returning once again with his iconic comic chops to serve up wholesome entertainment. Years after releasing his debut studio album 'Professional Rapper', the American rapper-comedian will be gracing the screen as Dave aka Lil Dicky in FXX's upcoming comedy series titled 'Dave'.

Plot
FXX's 'Dave' follows an aspiring rapper who believes he is once in a generation artist trying to be the biggest name in hip-hop. It is David aka Lil Dicky’s semi-autobiographical fiction series, which also features familiar faces from the music industry, including Justin Bieber.
The official synopsis for 'Dave' reads: "The show centers on Dave (Burd), a suburban neurotic man in his late 20s who has convinced himself that he's destined to be one of the best rappers of all time. Now he must convince his closest friends because with their help, he might actually convince the world."

David Andrew Burd is popularly known by his stage name Lil Dicky. He first gained recognition with the release of his video song 'Ex-Boyfriend', which went viral overnight.
His latest music video 'Earth', which released in 2019, also managed to create quite the buzz by featuring several actors and singers including Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran and Wiz Khalifa.
The additional cast members for 'Dave' include Taylor Misiak, Andrew Santino, GaTa, Travis Bennett and Christine Ko.

'Dave' is produced by FX Productions in association with Hart’s Heartbeat Productions and SB Projects. Kevin Hart, Lil Dicky, Jeff Schaffer and a few others have served as the executive producers. It is co-created by Lil Dicky and Jeff Schaffer.
