'Dancing With The Stars' season 28 returned on Monday night and while fans congratulated James Van Der Beek as he and his wife are expecting their sixth child, they weren't happy with the scores he received from the judges.

The actor who already has five kids with his wife Kimberly Brook revealed during the pre-taped segment that he and his wife are expecting their sixth child. Supported by his growing family, James and his pro partner Emma danced quickstep to the song 'Walking On Sunshine' and it was nothing but rainbows and roses, seeing the duo dance on stage.

After his performance, James was treated to positive reviews from judges who revealed he was flawless and they had to dig deeper to criticize his performance. Complimenting the choreography Len Goodman said, "Sometimes my scores don't reflect my feelings. I think you're a great dancer." He also added the duo had great movement.

Despite the amazing remarks the duo got from the judges and guest judge Leah Remini, in the end, James and Emma ended up getting 7 from each judge. Post James' performance, fans took to social media to reveal their disappointment with the scores this week claiming the actor deserved more than 7.

Taking to Twitter a fan wrote, "Scored way too low for this dance. It seems the score scale is not consistent for each couple." Adding to that another fan said, "Does anyone else think those scores were way too low? He's the best dancer on the show and his happiness really shown through this week."

Shocked a fan wrote, "7’s?? No way! He’s the best dancer on the show." While another said "They were robbed! Much better than scores showed!"

Will James face elimination with these low scores? 'Dancing With The Stars' season 28 airs every Monday night only on ABC. Check your local listings for more information.
