'Dancing With the Stars': Disappointed fans say Kaitlyn 'barely did the tango', label judges 'sh*tty voters'

Even though the judges went on to give them one of the highest scores of the night, fans, however, have expressed a rather different opinion about the overall review of the couple's latest act

Celebrity contestants and their partners were seen dancing to some of the hits of the '80s in the latest episode of 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 29. Nostalgia was in abundance as the stars recounted their best days from the '80s and how pop culture influenced them.  

'Bachelorette' star Kaitlyn Bristowe and her dancing partner Artem Chigvintsev danced the Tango to the '80s song 'I Think We're Alone Now' by Tiffany. The couple, ahead of their performance, explained their choice of song and noted that they wanted to do something different. 

While they received their first 9s last week, the judges had expressed interest in seeing them do a different dance. Kaitlyn said her routine for the performance also reminded her of her childhood in Canada when her mother dressed her and her sister in similar costumes in the '80s. 

In the latest (October 12) episode of DWTS, the '80s Kaitlyn did come out to play. All the judges were taken aback by the ending of their performance which was marked by a headstand by the reality star. Bruno Tonioli said the performance was action-packed while Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough noted that they thoroughly enjoyed watching Kaitlun and Artem. The couple got a total of 27, with each judge giving then a score of 9. 

Even though the judges went on to give them one of the highest scores of the night, fans, however, have expressed a rather different opinion about the overall review of the couple's latest Tango performance. Expressing that the scoring for Kaitlyn was unfair, one fan tweeted, "Are they rigging this sh*t in Kaitlyn's favour? #DWTS. Her dance didn't deserve those scores."

Another wrote, "Y’all some sh*tty voters! Y’all know damn well Chrishell and Kaitlyn needed to be in the bottom two #DWTS." One user observed, "NELLY DESERVED 9’S. HOW TF YALL JUST HAND OUT HIGH SCORES TO THIS LAME ASS KAITLYN WHEN SHE BARELY DID A TANGO????? #DWTS". Another tweeted, "I’m so over this #DWTS / #BachelorNation ally garbage. As far as I can see with those scores they gave Kaitlyn they already have a winner. All the other more talented dancers are just wasting their time."
