'Dancing With The Stars' Season 28 is all set to grace our screens with episode 3 on September 30 and while we're still trying to get over Mary Wilson's shocking elimination, we can't wait to see what the series has in store for us.

The series might be only done with two episodes and one elimination, but it sure is off to a great start, with fans rooting for their favorite pairs. There are a few pairs that the contestants can't wait to see to get eliminated, but through all that, the ones that stand out the most are the frontrunners who are also fan-favorites.

With episode 3 airing live, here are the frontrunners of this season who have a high chance of winning the mirrorball this season.

James Van Der Beek & Emma Slater

Ever since James Van Der Beek & Emma Slater debuted with their Tango routine to 'Whatever It Takes' — Imagine Dragons during week 1, fans can't get over the energy and charisma between the two. Carrie Ann also revealed that the series had finally gotten a man who leads this season unlike Sean Spicer or Ray Lewis who clearly have two left legs. During week one, they topped the scoring chart, but in week two they lost the top spot to Hannah Brown and Alan who scored higher than them. But James and Emma are still frontrunners and need to be looked out for this season.

Hannah Brown & Alan Bersten

Amid the dating rumors surrounding the pair, they sure light up the ballroom with their performances. Last week the pair rose to the top spot after receiving the highest scores after their performance. Along with James and Emma, they are the next ones to watch out for, because they sure have the chemistry and high-energy that is needed for each routine.

Lauren Alaina & Gleb Savchenko

Ranking third on the scoreboard and another fan-favorite and front runner pair is none other than country singer Lauren Alaina & Gleb Savchenko. Even though Lauren was a little bit loose with her moves during their debut cha-cha routine, they upped their performance during week 2, making them one among the frontrunners this season. The former American Idol contestant and her partner gave a powerful performance during week 1 and 2, leaving judges impressed. If they keep this up, they will make it to the top in no time.
