'Dancing With The Stars': Chrishell and Gleb's performance impresses judges, fans love her 'transformation'
Chrishell Stause and Gleb Savchenko's season premiere performance failed to leave a mark on the judges, but it looks like the pair have finally redeemed themselves with their second performance. When Chrishell first came on the show, she admitted that dancing was not her thing. Hinting that she was nervous, the reality star managed to let her guard down in the second performance.
Ahead of her performance, Chrishell opened up about her life before making it big on the screen. She revealed that while growing up her family did not have a lot. Chrishell remembered a school trip she had been on and feeling that she did not smell good. The reality star found it hard to hold back her tears.
While she did have an emotional start, Chrishell made sure she does not let that affect her dance. The pair chose to perform Rumba on 'This is me' from 'The Greatest Showman'. Unlike the last time, Chrishell managed to bring out the confidence and deliver it in her performance. The judges were happy to see her improve in week two.
Carrie Ann Inaba mentioned that Chrishell was dancing from the heart, but asked her to pay attention to the lifts. Bruno Tonioli loved the performance and was impressed. However, he asked Chrishell to pay attention to how she links all the steps. At the same time, Derek Hough thought it was a good performance, but that she needed some work.
Fans were quick to applaud the reality star for everything she had been through over the years and coming out stronger. "Reminder that in one-year Chrishell lost both her parents and went through a divorce. queen of resilience," read one comment. "CHRISHELL YOU ATE THAT UP IT WAS SO GOOD. so much more confidence, the lines, the fluidity. so so so good," read another.
