'Dancing With the Stars': Carrie and Artem argue over 'lift', furious fans wonder why judges 'hate' Kaitlyn

One agitated fan wrote, 'What’s with Carrie Ann’s personal agenda against Kaitlyn? Week after week she gives her low scores and critiques that are unrelated to dancing'

‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 29 is nearing the finals and the contestants are seen pushing themselves to do their best. ‘The Bachelorette’ fame Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem had one of the roughest weeks as they stood at the bottom two of the rank chart after their previous performance.

The reality star confides in Artem about the “disastrous” score they earned last week. She even breaks down, as she shares that she was in need of a cry. Artem tells her to enjoy herself while dancing and says it shouldn’t be done to “please others”, referring to the judges’ criticism.

Kaitlyn and Artem reveal that they are dancing to jive to Queen’s classic ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’. Throughout the routine, Kaitlyn is seen pushing herself and admits that the practice had exhausted her.

However, the judges had a slightly different opinion about Kaitlyn and Artem’s performance. While Derek Hough said that she could have used her arms and legs better, pointing at Kaitlyn’s stretches specifically, Bruno Tonioli said he wants to see more “passion” in them as they are approaching the finals. But, Carrie Ann Ibana as opposed to her fellow judges began by praising the couple for “one of the best performances by far”. She then goes on talk about the lift they did towards the end of their performance, which Artem said was a “jump”. Carrie asks Kaitlyn more than once if she can do the jump. The judge tells Bruno that she wouldn’t give up on fighting with Artem over this.

Carrie and Artem’s evident argument didn’t go down well with Kaitlyn’s fans as they are seen slamming the judges for “hating” them. The majority of them have pointed out at Carrie's “tricky” questions for Kaitlyn and her pro-dancer partner. One tweeted, "Carrie Ann hates Kaitlyn and I don’t get it #DWTS." Another noted, "if these judges keep underscoring Kaitlyn I’m gonna jump right through the screen COME ON !!!!!!!!! #DWTS."

Meanwhile, some few are of the opinion that Carrie has "something against" Kaitlyn. One agitated fan wrote, "What’s with Carrie Ann’s personal agenda against Kaitlyn? Week after week she gives her low scores and critiques that are unrelated to dancing #dwts." Another wrote, "What on earth does Carrie Ann have against Kaitlyn?! It just seems like she’s out to get her. #DWTS." Another said, "carrie ann seems to hate bachelor nation because she criticized kaitlyn so much just like she did to hannah b #DWTS."
