After losing two full-time cast members Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Denise Richards for the eleventh season of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’, many speculations have been made about who should be cast for the legendary television show. Fans deemed Kris Jenner and Kathy Hilton as suitable replacements, but both of them denied being associated with the show for their personal reasons. Crystal Kung Minkoff then was finalized as a cast member, according to Deadline. Kung, who is married to filmmaker Rob Minkoff, will be the first Asian-American cast member on the series.

Who is Crystal Kung Minkoff?

Kung is an entrepreneur and the founder of Real Coco, a line of organic coconut products. She recently posted a picture on Instagram of the famous Dalgona coffee made with non-dairy coconut milk of her brand. “The hottest drink trend to hit TikTok now made dairy-free so anyone can enjoy! We take #DalgonaCoffee also known as 'whipped coffee' and serve it over Real Coco's Original Coconut Milk. Irresistibly creamy and frothy there's a reason why this drink is an internet sensation,” she captioned this along with the whole recipe of making the cold brew.

Kung is also the mother of two children, Max, 8, and Zoe, 5. She and Rob got married in September 2007. Kung will join fellow Beverly Hills housewives Garcelle Beauvais, who last season became the first-ever Black cast member on ‘RHOBH’, Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Lisa Rinna and Dorit Kemsley on Season 11. Kung and Beauvais will replace Mellencamp and Richards who exited after Season 10. Kung's husband, Rob, directed the original ‘Lion King’ in 1994, the ‘Stuart Little’ franchise and Eddie Murphy’s ‘Haunted Mansion’.

Kung is friends with Kathy Hilton, while Kyle, Dorit, Lisa and Teddi follow her on Instagram. In September, Arroyave announced that after three seasons on the show, her contract was not renewed for another one. At that time, she released a statement in which she noted that it was not her decision to leave but that she would now focus more time on her family.

While Arroyave is still bitter about the situation, fans can’t wait to welcome the newest member on the show.
