Netflix is coming out with a new action-comedy series titled 'Country Comfort' featuring Katharine McPhee and Eddie Cibrian in the lead roles. The series revolves around a girl named Bailey (Katharine McPhee), an aspiring young country singer who is facing a lot of difficulties in her life.

With her career and personal life derailed, Bailey decides to take a job as a nanny for a rugged cowboy named Beau (Eddie Cibrian) and his five children. It will be interesting to see how Bailey will sacrifice her career to do what she never intended to. However, Cibrian and his family won't let Bailey forget about her dreams and what she wanted to achieve in the music industry.

'Country Comfort' starring Katharine McPhee will be streaming exclusively on Netflix. 

Plot 

The official synopsis reads: "When her career and personal life get derailed, an aspiring young country singer named Bailey (Katharine McPhee) takes a job as a nanny for a rugged cowboy named Beau (Eddie Cibrian) and his five children.

With a never-give-up attitude and loads of Southern charm, this newbie-nanny is able to navigate the family dynamics and be the mother figure they've been missing. To her surprise, Bailey also gets the band she's been missing in this musically talented family who help get her back on the road to stardom."

Cast

Katharine McPhee 

McPhee made her television debut in 2005 by participating in the reality singing competition 'American Idol'. She was the runner-up in the fifth season. McPhee started her professional musical career in 2007 with the album 'Katharine McPhee' and achieved a lot of success. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, selling 381,000 copies.

Later that year, she also made her feature film debut by making a cameo appearance in 'Crazy'. However, she gained a lot of prominence with her role in the 2012 series 'Smash'. McPhee won the Best Actress in a Drama Series award for 'Smash' at the Women's Image Network Awards. 'Family Guy', 'CSI: New York' and 'Community' are some of the television shows she has appeared on.

Eddie Cibrian 

Cibrian has been a part of the television industry since 1993 and has appeared on a variety of TV shows. He got his breakthrough role in the hit 1994 series 'The Young and The Restless'. In 1996, he appeared on the TV series 'Sunset Beach' and took his popularity to a whole new level. Cibrian was nominated for a Soap Opera Digest Award for his acting on the show.
