'Counting On': Jinger and Jeremy reveal they suffered a miscarriage, admit it has been 'emotionally hard'

Jeremy revealed that he had cried, but made sure he hugged Jinger and was there to support her through it all

Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo broke the sad news about miscarrying their second child in the latest episode (August 18) of the show. The pair had recently announced their pregnancy to the family during a family game night and were looking forward to welcoming a new member to their family. However, opening up about how things changed, Jinger revealed she started experiencing pain and that made her wonder if the baby was fine. Revealing that the same was experienced by her mother, Jinger hoped that the baby was in good health. Unfortunately, once they arrived at the hospital, they got the sad news that there was no heartbeat. 

Jinger revealed that the doctor gave them the upsetting news about them losing their child, She further admitted that it was emotionally hard, but they are trying to get through the news one day at a time. Jeremy also weighed in on how their life has changed after the news. He recalled being excited and then having trouble facing the news. However, he admitted that it had been harder for Jinger as she was the one who was carrying the child. Taking notes from couples who have gone through the same thing, Jeremy hinted the importance of being there for the women once something like this is faced by people as a couple. 

Jeremy revealed that he had cried, but made sure he hugged Jinger and was there to support her through it all. Jinger admitted that having Jeremy by her side had been helpful as he made sure she got a chance to relax. At the same time, Jinger stated that having faith in God helped her get through a hard time. 

Jeremy admitted that going through this together has helped them come closer. It has also helped the couple spend more time with their daughter, Felicity. Jeremy and Jinger admitted that they do not give up on any time when it comes to making memories with their daughter. After the miscarriage, the pair has been focusing on building happy memories to look back to and focus on what they have. 

Luckily for them, they have the support of each other and their families to get through this.
