'Counting On': Jana Duggar and Lawson Bates have fans convinced that there is romance brewing between them
Jana Duggar has been the talk of the town for 'Counting On' since the show's inception. Being a Duggar and not being married at the age of 29 has been a hard pill to swallow for many and this has led to fans speculating over various reasons as to why she is still unmarried. However, recently, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Jana has been getting close with 'Bringing up Bates' star Lawson Bates. Bates does not fail to comment on Duggars social media posts and this has made fans think that there might be a romance brewing between the two.
Recently, Duggar posted a picture in front of a Ferris wheel and captioned the picture as, "Stopped by the Tontitown Grape Festival! 🍇 Spent $5 on a game I never had a chance of winning, but memories are priceless! 🤗🎡 #smalltowngirl." To this, Bates commented, "Doin life right."
However, this is not the first time that the singer has commented on Jana's post. Previously, when Jana posted a picture of her nephew playing on the smartphone Bates commented, "so tech savy". Fans are finding it hard to believe that there is nothing going on between the two.
One fan noted, "Maybe this is tonight @lawbates and @janamduggarstarting courting:. Another added, "I really think you and Lawson are made for each other. Both so sweet, gorgeous hearts of gold with amazing musical talent."
However, in the past, Jana has dismissed the claim of dating anyone and told her fans that she is single. Meanwhile, there were others who thought that rumors about Bates and Jana were a publicity stunt in order to increase the viewership of the show. Fans pointed out how the relationship between Jana and Bates would make a perfect storyline to get views.
"I think Counting On is getting close to being canceled and JB is throwing a Hail Mary. As in getting Jana married off. Rumors about Lawson and Jana have been swirling around. But lately, they seem to have merit. Both were in the Bahamas, he’s been hanging around TTH a lot more. Then they were at Disney World with Books and books. Looking at Insta today and both were at church with Alyssa," one fan noted. While another added, "I actually would be interested to see how that works out with two different networks and two different family shows."
