Remember those days of 'Thank God it's Friday!' and actually feeling the rush of the final day before two full days of having no responsibilities? In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, the last two weeks have been practically just changing from one set of PJs to another as we continue to soak up all that copious amounts of self-isolation and social distancing in all its quarantined glory. Luckily, there's no restriction on through-the-screen company, which means it's another two full days of binge-watching and spending time on the internet. And in the course of it tonight, if your pandemic panic gets too real, here are the top 5 of TV's finest available for your viewing luxury.

Disclaimer: Network television might not be your knight in shining armor for the day as most of the slots in the primetime category are airing repeats. But we do have a select number of new arrivals on streaming that you can check out over the weekend, if you haven't already!

'Il Processo' (Netflix)

Vittoria Puccini and Francesco Scianna in 'Il Processo'. (IMDb)

What better than returning to the roots and bowing to the OG warlords when it comes to crime dramas, right? Just arrived on Netflix is this Italian-American crime drama that came out in 2019 on Channel 4 and is now finally gracing the screens of US audience through the streaming platform. Created by Alessandro Fabbri, ‘Il Processo’ or ‘The Process’ (Or ‘The Trial’) picks up when a group of characters is implicated in the brutal murder of a 17-year-old girl. The characters range from a prosecutor who's undeniably close to the victim to a rampant lawyer to whom this trial is the chance of a lifetime, and the only defendant who insists on her innocence. The synopsis teases "They all walk on a razor's edge searching for the truth, waiting for a verdict, which will establish, in a way or another, a new course for their lives," so about time we went down the rabbit hole with all episodes streaming on Netflix.

'Making the Cut' (Prime Video)

Tim Gunn, Heidi Klum (Amazon Prime Video)

Mingling the fierce taste of 'American's Next Top Model' with the crip business birthing brains of 'Shark Tank' comes this Prime Video reality that stars Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, yet somehow promises more. The duo will "host 12 designers who face challenges and assignments that will test their design skills and their abilities to run all aspects of a business," teases the official synopsis and that's exactly the kind of precision we need in times like these to remember to keep washing hands and practicing social distancing. The series premiered this March 27 and is available for streaming on the platform. Check it out.

'Baghdad Central' (Hulu)

Still from 'Baghdad Central' (Channel 4)

Another Channel 4 drama that has been touted for shattering all conceivable stereotypes of Arabs on TV, 'Baghdad Central' has also garnered quite the fame for its tense plot. In Its 2003 Iraq setting, we see the nation in unrest as its occupied by a US-led coalition. At the center of the plot is Muhsin al-Khafaji, a former police inspector in the Iraqi Police Service, who is stuck at the pivotal crossroads of deciding whether he should become a collaborator just to help his painful search for his missing daughter. Just the right kind of thrill to spruce up your quarantine lethargy.

'The Mire' (Netflix)

Dawid Ogrodnik and Andrzej Seweryn in 'The Mire' (Netflix)

Amping up its arsenal of foreign productions, Netflix has now brought on board a tastefully gritty Polish drama that just might be your quarantine cure. Set in the early 80s, a prostitute and a youth killer are found murdered, thus sparking a police investigation that catches two journalists' suspicion because of how sketchy everything looks. The series dropped all its episodes this March 26 and is up for streaming now.

'House Hunters International' (HGTV)

A still from one of the episodes (HGTV)

Stuck indoors all day might give you insane bursts of motivation to do a home makeover. While neither the cost nor a trip to IKEA is affordable right now for obvious reasons, maybe along with your regular dusting and organizing you could take some much-needed inspiration from one of HGTV's lifestyle veterans at 9:30 pm sharp tonight. Fancy homes with elaborate grandeur at prices way above our payscale — what more to zhush up the weekend!?
