We approach another weekend that sees the world take a break from backyard barbeques, or hanging out at the local mall or doing any leisurely activity, and we have the coronavirus to blame for. However, the gods have been kind as we have Netflix and some great TV shows to keep us going. We can't help with the tummy you'll end up with while on lockdown, but what we can do is suggest a few shows that will help start off a great weekend. So here's our Friday specials.

'Ozark' Season 3 (Netflix)

Jason Bateman as Marty and Laura Linney as Wendy (Netflix)

Make way for more mayhem as 'Ozark' Season 3 premieres on Netflix this March 27. Packed with shocks and surprises, Jason Bateman — who essays the lead role of Marty Byrde — dropped a few hints on where Season 3 could lead to. Teasing a time jump, he said, "We pick up about six months later."

Going by the new trailer, the Byrdes are back in business and the stakes have never been higher. As tensions mount surrounding their new casino, The Missouri Belle, Marty (Bateman) and Wendy (Laura Linney) struggle to balance their family's safety with the growing success of their money-laundering empire. Aided by an alliance with Helen (Janet McTeer) and drug cartel leader Omar Navarro (Felix Solis), Wendy plots for expansion. But when Wendy's brother Ben comes into town, everyone's lives are thrown into chaos.

'Vagrant Queen' (Syfy)

Looking for stories about bada** women? Have we got a show for you! Syfy's new series 'Vagrant Queen' follows the adventures of a princess-turned-outlaw in a futuristic galaxy that's out to get her. The series focuses on Elida (Adriyan Rae), an outcast who was born into a royal family and stripped of her birthright by a revolution, as she goes up against the villainous Commander Lazaro (Paul du Toit).

Vagrant Queen' was co-created by Eisner and GLAAD Media Award-nominated writer Magdalene Visaggio and artist Jason Smith and published by Vault Comics. The series has been developed into a one-hour drama with 10 episodes by Jem Garrard, the series' showrunner, working alongside a writers' room full of women. It airs on Syfy today at 10 pm ET/PT.

'Car Masters: Rust to Riches' Season 2 (Netflix)

(IMDb)

Gearheads have something to look forward to while being on the coronavirus lockdown. Netflix is all set to roll out the second season of 'Car Masters: Rust to Riches'. The eight-episode pilot season debuted in 2018 to positive acclaim and followed Mark Towle, the founder of Gotham Garage, as he and his crew took in classics and give them a major modern overhaul thereby increasing their value.

Season 2 sees the crew get a second garage where they go about their business of overhauling vintage cars into modern mean machines. This time, the numbers for trade are well over six figures.

'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 12 (VH1)

Pearl on RuPaul's Drag Race (VH1)

'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 12 recently premiered with its search for "America's next drag superstar." RuPaul Charles is the host, mentor, and head judge. The 13 drag queens will not only battle it out for the title of America's Next Drag Superstar, but also $100,000, a crown, and a year-long supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics.

In each episode, the drag queens will have to face a maxi challenge, a runway walk and a lip-sync battle where the bottom two contestants will lipsync for life and one contestant will be eliminated at the end of the episode. With two episodes down, we have said goodbye to two queens, Dhalia and Rock M Sakura.

'The Decline' (Netflix)

The world is about to end. People in every corner of the world are anticipating an upcoming disaster that will destroy the world and everything we know of it. Netflix's French movie 'The Decline' (original title 'Jusqu'au déclin') follows a group of survivalists, who, anticipating a disaster, are preparing for the worst in store.  Sounds familiar in today's time? However, the disaster that is coming is not going to be the one they predicted.

If you're into French movies, then fix yourself some Boeuf Bourguignon and settle down to watch this thriller.

Let us know what you're all tuning into on Friday.
