Vigilantes stabbed convicted child killer 150 times and even cut off his fingernails and thumb, court told
A court heard that the three vigilantes who lured a convicted child killer to his death ended up stabbing him 150 times in the gruesome attack and even cut off his fingernails and his thumb. The 54-year-old, David Gaut, was allegedly stabbed by 47-year-old Darren Evesham, 51-year-old David Osbourne, and 23-year-old Ieuan Harley after he moved into the quiet village of New Tredegar, South Wales. Gaut had only recently been released from prison after serving 33 years for the murder of his girlfriend's 17-month-old son while he was babysitting him.
The Newport Crown Court heard, on Thursday, January 17, that Gaut had moved into the apartment next to Osbourne when he was released, reported Mirror Online. The court was also told that the three defendants lured the convicted child killer into Osbourne's apartment where they killed him before dragging his lifeless body back to his apartment and then trying to clean the crime scene.
