Bud Caldera and Henry Caldera undergo a mysterious swap, resulting in unexpected situations. Bud finds himself outside the cabin in the snow, while Henry discovers he's holding Bud's gun in his Los Angeles apartment.

In a panic, Henry discovers his subordinate Paul Lancaster (William Catlett) wounded by a gunshot on the floor. He quickly dials 911 for an ambulance but struggles to provide an address, relying on postal details due to his disorientation.

Meanwhile, Bud, now in the snow, receives Alice (Davina Coleman and Rosie Coleman) from Jo after their cabin fire incident.

Jo goes inside to search for her real daughter, leaving Bud with the unconscious Alice, whom he places in the snow before falling unconscious to the cold himself.
