Couple decides not to have children because they don't want to 'contaminate the world'
Colombian couple Nathalie Guzman and Andrés Flu have decided to forgo parenthood out of fear of what their children might encounter in a "cruel' world.
Couples usually take the social media route to announce if they are having babies, however, Colombian couple Nathalie Guzman and Andrés Flu chose the platform to make a rather unconventional announcement that they would never be parents.
Sharing a photo of Flu holding a ticket for a vasectomy on January 29, the Medellin couple wrote on Facebook, "We want to share with you the great joy. WE WILL NEVER BE PARENTS."
"We accept a life in which we will eternally buy toys for ourselves, we will be able to travel without limitations, walk naked around the house and more."
The couple spurred a debate online after explaining their decision to skip parenthood fearing what their child may encounter in a "cruel" world, Daily Mail reports.
