Colby Covington is not afraid to make a move and he has made that very clear. Covington recently revealed that he is not being paid enough for his fights in MMA due to which he spoke about his plans to leave the company and move to WWE forever.

“UFC needs to pay up if they don’t pay up after this fight you will probably see me in WWE,” he said, as reported by Inquisitor. “This is it, I’m putting my foot down. I am willing to retire after Saturday night and go to WWE forever and leave this stupid corrupt business behind.”

Covington is fighting for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight title this Saturday night (December 14, 2019) when he faces off against division king, Kamaru Usman, in the main event of UFC 245 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Convington has been having a hard time with the company and his relations with it have not been good. It has been reported that he has constantly refused to fight as he demands more money than what is being offered to him currently. It is claimed that one of the reasons that Covington does not get paid more is because his shows are not attracting a lot of viewers like it used to do. There is a possibility that his popularity among the fans is slipping ever since his name came up in various controversies.

However, there is one fan in particular who does not miss a beat to support Covington and it is none other than President Donald Trump himself. Trump has often tweeted in support of Convington and the two have even met up.

Donald Trump Jr is also a supporter of the fighter. Recently, Covington thanked Trump Jr in his latest tweet that read, "Thank you for all the support @donaldjtrumpjr& @erictrump!!! Tonight we make fighting great again!!! This one is for The Troops and The Trumps!!!"

While it may look like Covington might be losing his fans there is no doubt that the Trumps are always going to have his back.
