Childish Gambino teases 'biggest music project' on Twitter, fans mock him for being 'the only one' who thinks so

The 37-year-old award-winning artist took to his official Twitter account and shared, 'there is a lot of magic comin. yall thought i was hot in 2018'

Looks like Donald Grover, who is also famous by his stage name Childish Gambino, is gearing up to drop some new music. The 37-year-old award-winning artist took to his official Twitter account and made some revelations concerned with his music and also his popular TV series 'Atlanta'.

The ‘This Is America’ hitmaker teased his fans with a tweet which read, “last music project was probably my best. but the one coming will be my biggest by far. listen to "new ancient strings" outside.” And, if that was not enough he posted another tweet to take his fans into confidence. Gambino tweeted, “there is a lot (of magic) comin. yall thought i was hot in 2018.”

The new announcement by the rapper got his fans excited as they took to Twitter to speak on the same while some also made fun of him. One user said, “I don’t know you at all but this last album seemed like you out found who you are, can’t wait to hear this next one!!” Another shared a video and expressed, “you're breaking the internet right now. One made fun of the rapper and said, “You probably the only one in the world who thinks that project is your best.” One individual tweeted, “Your last project was super mid bro I’m sorry.”

Childish Gambino’s took everyone by surprise when he released his project titled ‘3.15.20’ in March 2020  without any prior announcement or promotion on the website called donaldgloverpresents.com. However, the twist in the tale is that the album was available for only 24 hours, which of course, nobody knew.  The project was then pulled-off from the site, leaving his fans asking for more. ‘3.15.20’ is now referred to as Donald Glover Presents. The album later resurfaced on Spotify. His 2018 hit single ‘Feels Like Summer’ appeared on the record with the name ’42:26’ and also included his other previous songs like 2019's ‘Algorhythm’ and his unheard collaborations with fellow Coachella 2019 headliner Ariana Grande titled ‘Time’ and one track with rapper 21 Savage titled ‘12.38.’  You can stream Childish Gambino’s ‘3.15.20’ here.

Speaking about his music in an interview with GQ earlier, Gambino stated, as reported by Hot New Hip Hop, “I still don’t feel like I’m done with that [music] project. With writing, I definitely feel, like on the last project and on the project I’m working now, musically too, it’s all spiritual. It’s all spiritual. A feeling of 'I love us. I love me'. I really do.”  

Gambino, who uses his real name when it comes to acting, also shed light on his Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning show ‘Atlanta’s new seasons saying, “while im here: 'atlanta' s3+s4 are going to be some of the best television ever made. sopranos only ones who can touch us.” The release dates for the same are yet to be announced.
