‘Cheerleader Abduction’: Meet Kristen Harris and Jerni Stewart, the lead cast of Lifetime’s thriller movie

To make your Halloween experience better, Lifetime is premiering a series of thriller movies built around cheerleading. ‘Cheerleader Abduction’ is an installment from its franchise that follows the golden girl with model good looks and 4.0 GPA student Olivia. When she learns about her unexpected pregnancy, she does everything in her power to hide it from her mother Trish as it could jeopardize her reputation and ruin her gubernatorial campaign. However, blinded by the desperation to keep her pregnancy secret, Olivia gets caught in an underground adoption ring. Will Trish be able to find her missing daughter? Meet the cast of ‘Cheerleader Abduction’ here ahead of its premiere on October 11 at 8 pm ET. 

Kristen Harris 

Kristen Harris is a Canadian actress best known for her recurring role as Lisa Larkin on the television series ‘Less Than Kind’. In ‘Cheerleader Abduction’, she will be seen as Olivia’s mother Trish, who is preparing for her gubernatorial campaign but is forced to drop her big plans in the pursuit of her missing daughter. Harris grew up in Calgary, Alberta and attended the performing arts program at the University of Toronto. Before she gained prominence, she started her career by acting in a made-for-TV movie called ‘Vinegar Hill’. Harris has also featured in the horror film ‘The Exorcism of Molly Hartley’. Her film credits include ‘Passionflower’ and ‘We Were Children’. While she’s seen as Beatrice Mathews in the former, she essays the role of Lebret Nun in the latter. Harris has also appeared in episodes of ‘Flashpoint’, ‘Men with Brooms’ and ‘The Pinkertons’. 

Jerni Stewart 

Jerni Stewart is seen as Olivia in ‘Cheerleader Abduction’, a straight-A student who falls prey to an underground adoption ring when she seeks their help to keep her unexpected pregnancy a secret. Stewart is known for her roles in films such as ‘Wait Till Helen Comes’ of 2016, ‘2018’s ‘Burden of Truth’, and ‘Into Invisible Light’, which released in the same year. While she essays the role of a teenager in ‘Wait Till Helen Comes’, in ‘Into Invisible Light’, she’s seen as one of the art competitors. She enjoys over 1,000 followers on Instagram and often gives fans a glimpse into her personal life.
