MTV is all set to bring back its hit show ‘Teen Mom: OG’ Season 9 on January 26. The newly released trailer of the show promises new challenges and opportunities for moms Amber, Catelynn, Cheyenne, Maci and Mackenzie with their children.

However, for Catelynn Lowell, 2020 has been exceptionally hard as she suffered a miscarriage and is now going through a divorce, as per her latest Instagram post. And while the show’s preview only shows a glimpse into Catelynn's life with Tyler Baltierra, MTV says the reality star will bravely share her story about pregnancy loss to help others watching this season. We might also find out what exactly went down between the reality star and her husband that caused their split. Here's everything you need to know ahead of the show's premiere in 2021.

Reality star Catelynn Lowell from ‘Teen Mom OG’ had suffered a miscarriage on Thanksgiving day this year. In an emotional social media post, she opened up about the devastating loss. “I WAS pregnant and excited to share it with all of you and I am heartbroken to reveal that I lost the baby,” she wrote on Twitter, going on to tell fans that she is sharing her story “to let you know you are not alone.”

“We are all in this together and everyone experiences pain, loss, and the recovery from it and I am still in the thick of dealing with this loss as it was recent and all the emotional trauma that follows such a loss in an already horrifically hard year. Thank you in advance for your prayers, love, and support. Know that I’m there for you and care as much as you guys are there to support me. I opened up about this only to help those who are experiencing the same thing to know that there’s someone else every day experiencing this,” she concluded. “This was painful to share… but again, you’re not alone.”

In an interview with Champion Daily, Lowell further opened up about the heartbreaking loss, telling the outlet that she and her husband Tyler Baltierra learned they were expecting another child three days before Thanksgiving. But on Thanksgiving Day, "we lost the baby," Lowell said. "I was overwhelmed by sadness and felt my emotions." Lowell shares daughters Nova, 5, and Vaeda Luma, who turns 2 in February, with husband Tyler Baltierra. The pair have another daughter, Carly, now 11, whom they placed for adoption while on ‘16 and Pregnant’.

Her road to recovery after suffering from the miscarriage has been hard. Still reeling from it the star revealed she wanted to become pregnant again. Although she is thankful for the three healthy girls she already has, Catelynn would like to welcome one more baby into the world. I just want one more baby… is that too much to wish for/want?” she wrote on Facebook. “I pray that the Lord will bless us with one more… if not I am absolutely grateful for the three beautiful, healthy little girls that we do have.”

On December 24, Catelynn posted a black-and-white picture of herself with a caption, “DIVORCE Confirmed,” confirming divorce from her estranged husband Tyler Baltierra and had disabled comments on the post. Lowell had posted on Instagram to announce her split from Baltierra once before in March 2020, as per our previous report

The reality star posted a throwback picture of the pair from when they did an interview for 'Teen Mom' and captioned the picture as "Officially DIVORCING."  Just a day after she broke the news, she took the post down.
