BTS' 'Black Swan'
BTS is throwing one surprise after another at fans. On Friday, the famous K-pop boy band released a song titled 'Black Swan' in collaboration with a performance by MN Dance Company.
Within hours of the song's release, 'Black Swan' has made a place for itself in the top live music charts and has also inspired a 'Black Swan' challenge which sees fans trying to recreate moves by MN Dance Company performers.
It was also announced that BTS members RM, V, Jungkook, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, and Jin would be performing this song live for the first time at 'The Late Late Show with James Corden'.
Go Eun-ah shares experience of being physically assaulted
Actor Go Eun-ah was recently featured on her brother Mir of MBLAQ's YouTube video where the two are chatting about life and work. In this video, the actor revealed that her former agency's boss physically abused her.
She recalled that he used a baseball bat to hit her head and backside. According to a report in Soompi, she said, "There was a rumor going around the agency at the time that I was dating a senior actor. After a filming shoot, I went with a female stylist to see a movie. However, someone gave my agency the wrong information and so the fact that I went to the movies with my stylist was misunderstood as me going with a man."
She also added that they stylist that she went to watch the movie with ran away and this caused the confusion. Her bag and her phone were checked to see who she was in touch with.
Red Velvet cancels the performance due to health concerns
Red Velvet has canceled its performance at the 2020 Korea Singers Festival citing health concerns. The band's agency SM Entertainment released a statement and according to Soompi, "Red Velvet, who was scheduled to appear at the 2020 Korea Singers Festival today, will be unable to participate in this recording due to the members’ flu symptoms. We ask for the understanding of fans present at the event."
EXO's Chen's marriage announcement
EXO's member Chen on January 13 shared news of his impending wedding with his girlfriend amid rumors that the idol was already married and that his girlfriend was seven months pregnant. His talent agency, SM Entertainment denied the rumors but confirmed that the idol was set to be married to a girl who is not a celebrity.
According to a report in Soompi, in his note, he wrote, "I have a girlfriend I want to spend the rest of my life with. I was worried and concerned about the situations that would arise as a result of this decision, but I had been discussing with the agency and our members because I wanted to announce the news at least a little bit earlier so I wouldn’t surprise you with the sudden news."
BIGBANG's Go Kyung Pyo discharged from the military
BIGBANG's Go Kyung Pyo has been discharged from the military and the idol/actor shared a note of gratitude on Instagram along with a picture of himself in uniform. He wrote, "I’ve been discharged. Thank you to all the fans and reporters who came out even in this frigid weather. I will repay all of the people who missed me and waited for me by returning to my activities. P.S. The day has come."
