BTS took home the 'Favorite Music Group' award at the virtual iteration of Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards this year. They were also nominated for the 'Favorite Global Music Star' award, but lost to Taylor Swift.

Presented by Victoria Justice who joked they had to send the award all the way around the world, BTS was presented with the award in a pre-recorded video which Nickelodeon tweeted, captioned "this one's dedicated to the BTS Army congrats on your #KCA2020 win @BTS_twt!" along with a video of the group's acceptance speech. Taehyung stated, "Thank you for voting for us ARMY. Your love keeps us going," while Jungkook added, "We miss you ARMY, so, so much, and hopefully see you soon."

J-Hope shared, "Stay safe and connected. We hope everything will get better soon," while Jimin thanked the ARMY and the KCAs. Jin thanked fans for showing their latest release, 'Map of the Soul: 7', so much love, while Suga promised they were working hard on new music.

Fans were naturally ecstatic. One fan tweeted, "The boys won the award," along with crying face and purple heart emojis, while another stated, "OMG CONGRATS BABY i'm so proud of you,i love you so much @BTS_twt." Fans also shared images of the group winning the award along with congratulatory messages like "CONGRATS BTS for winning such a memorable award," as well as, "CONGRATS KINGS!! DESERVE"

The ARMY has had a wonderful few days, as one fan tweeted, "Junkook posted, BTS won Favorite Music Group, K-ARMY are doing there thing.... I am having a meltdown of happiness #KCAxBTS #BTSxKCAs #BTSatKCAs #BTSatKCA #KCA2020," in response to the news that BTS' song 'ON' has spent 533 hours at #1 on MelOn charts with a total of 269,326 unique listeners.

Not all fans were happy, however. Fans eagerly awaited a performance from the group, tweeting "BTS will perform. I think they're next. #KCAxBTS" as they stayed up watching the entire show. However, some later confirmed, "Qdeoks said the boys won't perform on the awards show TvT okay ARMYs, go back to sleep now and to others take a breakfast now."

Some fans were confused, stating "Omg I'm a clown, why did Nickelodeon implied that they're gonna perform."

And some fans were angry, tweeting, "I hope other american award shows stop using bts for clout and giving them a short and cutted screening time just to get a big audience to watch on their show. bangtan doesn't deserve to be treated like this sht. #KCAxBTS (sic)"

But some fans found themselves distracted from the celebrations for entirely different reasons, stating "Wait. I cant focus on #KCAxBTS. I just woke up and found this. Jungkook, you talented man. You just made me so emo early in the morning."

Not long before winning their awards, Jungkook posted a cover of Lauv's 'Never Not' to Twitter, causing fans to swoon over everything from his voice to his looks and tattoos, eventually breaking the record for the fastest Twitter video to reach 1.1 million views in only 10 minutes. Jungkook also now holds the title of being the first BTS member to have over 400,000 comments on a tweet.

The cover crossed the 10 million views mark in only six hours and Jungkook found himself trending worldwide. As one fan states, "JEON JUNGKOOK is still trending. We really miss him that much."
