'Bride and Prejudice: Forbidden Love': Kelly still needs time to approve Chris and fans are getting annoyed
Lifetime's 'Bride and Prejudice: Forbidden Love' is a social experiment that follows three couples who must convince their parents that they are best suited for each other. Chris Williams and Blair Bathory are one such couple and their story is in a bad shape as of now with Blair's mother, Kelly Richardson, not giving up on her set notions.
She has been off about Chris' North Korean descent and his love for tattoos and motorbikes. Previously, she has even asked if she could run his fingerprints as part of her background check process. Kelly's idea of North Korea is that of hate and angst, but Chris has repeatedly assured her that he doesn't come from that era and there's absolutely nothing to worry about. But, it's hard to have Kelly on the same page, who brought up the same topic while at the dinner with Chris' father.
This is almost the couple's last shot at getting their parents' approval. Even though Chris' father assured that Chris was a loyal person and said that Kelly needed to give the pair the time they deserved, she seemed far from convinced, said she needed more time to process all of it.
Meanwhile, fans are getting tired of Kelly going around in circles with her notions against Chris. They want her to see Chris for who he is and give him a shot at least. "Blair’s mom is so full of it and she won’t even give Chris a chance #BrideandPrejudice," a viewer said, while another added, "Kelly thinks Chris is a communist. #BrideandPrejudice."
"So this woman is focussed on Chris's Korean heritage....so dumb because he has a white American father, was born and raised in the USA. WTH? #BrideandPrejudice," another user expressed.
Chris loves Blair and would do anything to make their relationship work but he wouldn't let go of his identity. Previously, when Kelly had asked he would sell his bike off if the couple were to have kids, he said he would ride it a lot less but has no plans of selling it. Chris knows when to be vulnerable and when to be stern about boundaries.
