While the mystery surrounding Felicity Dill's (Michele Weaver) death continues to remain unsolved, ‘Briarpatch’ is writing off more and more characters. The previous episode saw Clyde Brattle (Alan Cumming) kill Lalo (David Zaldivar) to seek revenge on Jake Spivey (Jay R Ferguson) and viewers were extremely disappointed with the creators’ decision to bring an end to one of the most-liked people in Saint Disgrace.

In the latest episode ‘Butterscotch’, Gene Colder’s (Brian Geragthy) insane wife Lucretia Colder (Christine Woods) fires a shot at Harold Snow (Timm Sharp) when her husband learns about her spying on him and Felicity.

Undeniably, Harold was one of the most liked characters on ‘Briarpatch’, thanks to his unconventional jokes and a rather quirky girlfriend Cindy. Reacting to the twist in the story and unexpected death of Harold’s, one fan commented, “OH, COME ON! There's only four likable people on the show, and one of them just got shot. Don't ask me why, but I really liked Harold. Maybe it was the nose, or the weird combination of redneck/hacker, but I'll miss him. I hope Cindy doesn't disappear now.”

Meanwhile, majority of fans are praising Christine Woods for putting up an exceptional performance in the recent episode. She’s being heaped with praise for making the show more edgy and watchable when the rest of the plotlines are failing to meet the expectations of the viewers.

One fan wrote, “All I'm saying is Christine Woods should win an Emmy for tonight's episode of #Briarpatch”

And, some have to say that if Allegra had got her hands on flash drives, instead of Gene, we could have witnessed a lot more of craziness. “I wish that Allegra would've acquired that flash drive,” wrote one fan.

Meanwhile, some fans continue to complain about multiple plotlines in ‘Briarpatch’, which has turned the series confusing overall.

One of the fans who is trying to wrap their head around everything that’s happening in the series and reacting to the last episode wrote,  “There are just way too plates spinning right now. So, Colder was cheating on his wife with Felicity. But did the wife know about this prior to the bomb? We don't know a whole lot about her, but this doesn't seem like someone who plants car bombs. #Briarpatch."

‘Briarpatch’ airs on Mondays on USA Network.
