When will ‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm’ release? Here's how and where to stream Sacha Baron Cohen's mockumentary
Sacha Baron Cohen is making headlines with his recent movies. First, it was Aaron Sorkin's ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7’ and now it's his own mockumentary comedy film. Titled ‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’ or simply known as ‘Borat 2’, the one-hour 36-minute film is already grabbing eyeballs after Rudy Giuliani's compromising scene fiasco.
The former Mayor of New York can be seen in a hotel bedroom with a young girl — Maria Bakalova who plays Borat's daughter Tutar Sagdiyev — posing as a journalist. After she removes his microphone, the 76-year-old could be seen lying back on the bed, fiddling with his untucked shirt and reaching into his trousers. As soon as he is seen in that compromising position, Borat interrupts them and says: “She’s 15. She’s too old for you.”
A Guardian report details his presence in the film as: “Flattered and flirtatious, he drinks scotch, coughs, fails to socially distance and claims Trump’s speedy actions in the spring saved a million Americans from dying of Covid. He also agrees – in theory at least – to eat a bat with his interviewer.”
Now, several people on the Internet can't stop wondering where and when the movie will release. “When is the Borat movie release?” one Twitter user asked and another echoed the same: “When will the Moviefilm: Borat 2 release?” One even went on to post: “I still need to see the 1st Borat. I hope Prime Video will have it when they release #Borat2.” Another posted, “I have never watched Borat before. Should I watch it and live tweet it? The answer is obviously no but will that stop me? Also no.”
