‘Blue Bloods’ Season 11: Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about CBS' police drama
CBS’ police procedural drama, ‘Blue Bloods’, is soon to arrive for its eleventh season. The show that focuses on the fictional Reagan family, an Irish Catholic family in New York City with a history of work in law enforcement, like many other CBS procedurals, will take on real-world socio-political issues.
Here’s all you need to know about the show:
Release date
‘Blue Bloods’ will be back on the small screen with Season 11 starting on Friday, December 4, only on CBS.
Plot
In this season, Frank (Tom Selleck) will reportedly go head-to-head with City Council Speaker Regina Thomas (returning guest star Whoopi Goldberg) over protests against police brutality. At the same time, Jamie and his newish-found nephew, Joe Hill, work together to locate Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) when they go missing while searching for a killer, while Eddie (Vanessa Ray) steps up to help an abrasive woman find her father’s body after it was misplaced during the outset of the pandemic.
Where Season 10 left off
Episode 19 of Season 10 of ‘Blue Bloods’, titled, ‘Family Secrets’, left fans with many questions. We saw Sean (Andrew Terraciano) get a match from an unknown relative from a DNA network, and he did some detective work to figure out who this mystery person might be. Frank got a personal request from a woman, Paula Hill, to transfer her son to a safer assignment. Also, Danny sought to uncover the truth behind the murder of a key witness in one of Erin's (Bridget Moynahan) cases. The show introduced a new grandson Frank in the last season. Adding a new person to a 10-year-old drama makes us question if he is going to return in the next season.
