Blake Shelton has picked some of the best talents in Season 19 of ‘The Voice’ and with an intention to go ahead with the best in the Knockout challenge, he selected for Jim Ranger and John Sullivan for the next round of the battle. Both singers covered ‘Good As You’ by Kane Brown, who is also the mentor of Team Blake.

After mesmerizing with their soulful performance, Jim and John got a lot of praise from all the judges. While John Legend and Kelly Clarkson loved the performance of both singers, Gwen Stefani loved Jim’s performance as compared to John. After listening to all the coaches, Blake opted for 38-year-old Jim Ranger from California. John Sullivan had to return home with disappointment as no one saved or used the steal option on him.

The world of Twitter that always keeps a sharp eye on the latest updates of the show also spoke about the battle round. One user tweeted, “Jim Ranger vs John Sullivan dawn their guitars slide thru this song. John is so reserved while Jimmis openly wooing #TheVoice coaches. So much potential with John while Jim is really really letn loose. John is still pulling focus.  #VoiceBlinds”

One individual asserted, “@jimranger loved the end of your battle round! You brought it back home there! @blakeshelton had a hard choice on this #VoiceBattles @NBCTheVoice” Another added, “@blakeshelton #VoiceBattles you are doing a good job love watching the voice.”
